On the other hand, residents using public transit may have few options in this neighbourhood due to the low service level. Although there are a fair number of bike lanes, the bicycle is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in this part of the city because cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes. Travelling on foot is also not very feasible for house buyers in Saint-Émile since very few daily needs can be met by walking.
