Parking is generally easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 85. In contrast, travelling by public transit is difficult in Conestoga. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. The bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in this area because the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and cyclists encounter a significant amount of slopes. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for house buyers in Conestoga as most daily needs are occasionally difficult to carry out by walking.


The closest grocery store in Conestoga is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Additionally, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a good number of choices, and there are also a few coffee shops in this part of Waterloo. With respect to education, there are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and accordingly they can be a long walk away. Likewise, Conestoga does not have any primary schools. In addition, parents and their schoolchildren may find it challenging to access daycares as a pedestrian.


It is relatively calm in Conestoga, thanks to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets. Public green spaces aren't well-distributed, which makes them sometimes difficult to get to from a lot of locations within Conestoga. Despite that, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.
