Driving is a great transportation option in East Woodbridge. It is very easy to access a place to park, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 400, from anywhere in this area. On the other hand, East Woodbridge is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and most residences are close to a bus stop. Despite the fact that certain enjoyable sectors for bicycling exist, and the cycling network is good, East Woodbridge is not especially bike-friendly because the topography is not especially flat. It is also at times difficult for pedestrians to navigate this area as few daily errands can be run on foot.


It is convenient to reach the closest supermarket by walking in East Woodbridge. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited variety of coffee shops can be found as well. With respect to education, it is a rather short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from any location in East Woodbridge. Residents have the option of public and private schools at both the primary and high school level. However, parents and their schoolchildren may find it difficult to access daycares on foot.


East Woodbridge is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. This part of Vaughan is reasonably quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several noisier sections, especially near the railway line, Highway 400 or Highway 407. Lastly, there are around 30 parks nearby for residents to discover, including Giovanni Caboto Park and Doctors Mclean District Park, and they are very well-distributed, making it easy to reach them from a lot of locations within this area.
