Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Concord. It is very easy to park, and it is a short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 407, from any location in Concord. However, the public transit system in Concord is not especially convenient. Thankfully, commuters profit from the Rutherford Station on the Barrie Line. There are many rapid transit stations with access to the Yonge - University Line and orange | VIVA ORANGE. Homeowners benefit from around 30 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. This area is not very conducive to cycling because the terrain is not especially flat, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.
