Driving is an excellent transportation option in St. Thomas. Parking is quite easy, and most real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. Walking is not very feasible for home buyers in St. Thomas since very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Parents and their schoolchildren will welcome that no matter where their home is situated in St. Thomas, primary schools are close by. However, high schools are not especially numerous and therefore not always within walking distance. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. With respect to eating, accessing one of approximately 10 supermarkets by walking is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in St. Thomas.
