Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. The city block layout is reasonably conducive to getting around by car, and parking is easy. However, the public transit network in Sixteen Hollow is not very practical. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines. This part of Oakville is not very suitable for walking as carrying out daily needs is very inconvenient. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in Sixteen Hollow because travelling by bike is made strenuous by the typically hilly topography, and there are very few bike lanes.


It is very rarely feasible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to travel to the closest grocery store by walking. In terms of education, high schools are easy to get to on foot from anywhere in Sixteen Hollow. However, there are no primary schools in this area.


There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Sixteen Hollow. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, including North Park and Neyagawa Woods, and there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in. It is relatively quiet in this part of the town, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.
