Transportation
Regardless of the means of transportation, it is quite simple to move around in Port Credit. Port Credit has a fairly good public transit system. More specifically, commuters can rely on the Port Credit Station on the Lakeshore West Line. The neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Port Credit is also a fairly convenient part of Mississauga for pedestrians; carrying out day-to-day needs is easy by walking. This area is quite suited for biking since the cycling infrastructure is very good, and it is a flat ride to most destinations.
Services
It is a reasonably short walk to access schools and daycares from any location in Port Credit. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools. As far as food is concerned, the closest supermarket in Port Credit is typically only a short walk away. Moreover, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. Property owners benefit from a fair number of clothing stores within walking distance.
Character
Port Credit offers a relaxed environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Most areas in this part of Mississauga are quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case around the railway line. Lastly, green spaces, including Brueckner Rhododendron Gardens and Adamson Estate, are especially well-situated and there are about 10 of them close by for residents to check out, making it easy to reach them.
