This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy, and nearby highways, such as Lincoln M Alexander Parkway, are especially easy to access from any location in Quinndale. However, Quinndale is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Although there are a fair number of bike lanes, Quinndale is not particularly bicycling-friendly because there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Walking is also not especially practical for property owners in Quinndale since few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.
Services
It is typically feasible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to buy their groceries by walking. Moreover, a restaurant is often just around the corner. It is also a reasonably short distance to a good variety of clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, in Quinndale, parents and their children will usually be able to access primary schools and daycares on foot. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.
Character
The character of Quinndale is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. This part of Hamilton is quiet, as the streets are usually reasonably peaceful - however noise can be an issue closer to Lincoln M Alexander Parkway. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to enjoy, which results in them being easy to reach from the majority of locations within this neighbourhood.
