Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Village West. It is very convenient to park, and many houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be very difficult in this part of Squiaala due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for home buyers in Village West as very few daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a car.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. In addition, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, a fraction of property owners in this neighbourhood may be able to reach the nearest grocery store on foot, while others will have to rely on another means of transportation. Residents can enjoy approximately 10 restaurants and cafes as well.

It is relatively serene in Village West, as there are very few people out and about on the streets. Public green spaces aren't well-distributed, making it very hard to reach them.
