Transportation
The preferred method to get around in Valley South is very often a car. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. On the other hand, getting around by transit can be very hard in Valley South due to the low service level. Walking is not very convenient for property owners in this area because almost no daily errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle.

It can be very difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from homes for sale in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, families may find it very hard to access daycares on foot. With regards to eating, in vast majority cases, a car is required in this part of the city to reach the nearest supermarket.
Character
Most areas in Valley South are quiet, as the streets are usually peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially near the railway line or Trans-Canada Highway. Green spaces aren't well-situated, making it very hard to reach them.
